About & Contact

Welcome to the website of the Kappa Theta Epsilon Rho Chapter, located at the University of Texas at Austin.

Kappa Theta Epsilon (KTE) is a national honorary society that aspires to promote cooperative education by recognizing cooperative education and internship students, who are among the most able and qualified in the country. Kappa Theta Epsilon is the only national honor society devoted to excellence in experiential learning.  Our mission is threefold: To honor outstanding, career-driven students, connect them with employers, and support the advancement of experiential learning at the university level.

Founded in 1957 at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, Kappa Theta Epsilon was an organization striving to recognize undergraduate students who have displayed distinguished scholarship, industrial ability, integrity, breadth of interest and adaptability while participating in the cooperative education program.

Our chapter strives to foster community among co-ops and help co-ops reconnect to campus life.

You may contact the KTE Rho chapter by emailing our President.  Contact information is located on the officers page.
